Supporting Young Carers
At Bunbury Aldersey CE Primary and Nursery School, we are a Bronze awarded school for the work we do with Cheshire Young Carers, a local charity that supports children and young people who help care for a family member due to illness, disability, mental health needs, substance misuse, or additional support needs.
Young carers often take on responsibilities at home that can impact their education, wellbeing and attendance. Cheshire Young Carers provides specialist support, activities, respite opportunities and advocacy to help young carers achieve their full potential.
