St Boniface Church
We are a Church Aided School and have strong links with our Church, St Boniface Church Bunbury. Our children and staff visit the Church for special assemblies and services at least once per term. Our Vicar is Reverend Tim Hayward and he leads our celebration worship in school on a Friday.
Our KS2 classes also visit church once more during the year. This is to attend a session, led by Rev Tim, on a topic which links to the current Christian value in school. Rev Tim also recreates services such as weddings and Christenings for the visiting classes.
Our KS1 classes are visited by Rev Tim's wife, Beth, who comes into school to lead a forest church session for each of the classes.
We are thrilled to have such a close working relationship with St Boniface as this allows us to bring our local community even closer together in praise and worship. The children have the honour of hosting many weekday services throughout the year at the church, these include Harvest, Christmas, Easter and Leavers Services.
The church regularly prays for the school and includes the prayers for the school family. Numerous people from St Boniface Church are very active at the school as parents, governors, staff and volunteers, supporting the school in its aim of being a caring, inclusive and prayerful Christian community. St Boniface Church is a beautiful building and well worth a visit.
We contribute monthly to the Parish Magazine - The Bunbury Link and during the pandemic, the weekly services were held online and broadcast via YouTube to the those who wished to attend. Mrs Badger, our school Principal led prayers for the community during these services.

"Rejoice in the Lord always. I shall say it again: rejoice! Your kindness should be known to all. The Lord is near. Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petitions, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."
- Philippians 4:4-7
