Homework Autumn 1
Hello Year 4,
Welcome to a new school year! We have a jam packed half term to start the year off, and I am really looking forward to seeing you all and hearing what you have been upto over the summer holidays!
All of our homework documents are attached below for this half term, you should be able to find everything you need to complete your homework.
Any spellings and timestables practice can be completed in your yellow homework books. Don't forget to keep practicing your timestables on TT Rockstars/Hit the Button too.
The link below is the website where you can create the worksheets to practise for the weekly 5 minute timestables test (these will take place on Tuesday mornings, with certificates awarded for answering all questions correctly):

MyMaths - Weekly homework set every Friday
MyMaths is our online homework resource for the children, I will set weekly lessons and this will all be linked to what we are learning in class.
This is a great way to help support your child at home with their Maths learning and a chance for them to practice the skills we are learning in school.

Certificates are rewarded at the end of each half term, your child must have completed all pieces of assigned work with a pass mark of 70% questions answered correctly for a certificate to be awarded (they may attempt each task more than once), this has been decided in order to promote consistent effort and practice.

Weekly Spellings - tested on Thursdays and set for the following week on Fridays
You will also find your child's weekly spellings at the bottom of this page based on the spelling rules we are learning in class. These will be dated with the test date of the words on them for ease.
Takeaway Homework - please choose one task from the Takeaway Homework sheet below, this will be handed in on Wednesday 22nd October.
