Y6 Indoor Athletics

It was a very exciting competition this morning at Tarporley High School. We took a team of 13 Year 6 children to an Indoor Athletics event. The children all ran, jumped and threw so well and what was especially lovely to see was how they cheered on and congratulated each other. Well done. We were the eventual silver medal winners. A special mention must go to Abbey Bate who did a standing high jump of 50 cm. This was the highest score achieved by any Year 6 child. Bunbury School are very proud of the whole team.
