Y6 Football Tournament - group stages

This afternoon Year 6 travelled to Nantwich Town FC to play their group stages as part of the Nantwich league. There were 4 games to play and all members of the team were very excited to kick-off having waited for this day for quite some time! 

We got off to a great start and won the first two games 1-0, against Acton and St Oswalds. Our next two matches, against Weston and Berkeley, proved more difficult and were both narrow defeats (both 2-0). Overall, there was great teamwork, football skills and sportsmanship. Everyone had an enjoyable time - we even managed to play a friendly against St Oswalds before going home!
