Y4 week beginning 9.1.17

Happy New Year to you all. We hope you have thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas break and are looking forward to coming back to school tomorrow.

This week we are spending time on Global goals and Children's rights. Together with Y3 we will be looking at Article 22. See if you can find out what that right is before we talk about it tomorrow. The week will be spent on research, drama, English arts, geography, role play and maths linked to this right. Miss. Cork, Mrs. Woodhouse and I met up last week to plan some exciting lessons on this theme . We are sure you will enjo them. Each day during assembly each class will have a slot to tell the rest of the school what they have found out and to show them some of the work they have produced.

Fraction work will also start this week concentrating on fraction walls and equivalent fractions.

This is only a short half term but we have a lot to fit in. We know you can do it.
