Welcome to Bunbury Aldersey CE Primary School
Bunbury Aldersey CE Primary School is a happy school where everyone matters. We aim to provide the very best education for all the children in our care, by contributing to their intellectual, physical, social, emotional and spiritual development. We recognise our responsiblilty to provide equality of opportunity for the children. We strive to prepare your child with the 'skills for life' and to help them gain a deep concern for their human and natural environment.
Bunbury is a very special school and we are proud of our pupils and their successes. We are a Church of England Primary School with strong links to St Boniface Church, Bunbury and the community. We believe that the relationships we develop with our children and their families enables us to create a warm and welcoming ethos which is so evident throughout our school.
The school named after its founder, Thomas Aldersey, dates back to 1594. It belongs to the Worshipful Company of Haberdashers, one of the twelve Great Livery Companies of London, but it is now administered by the Local Authority. The Worshipful Company of Haberdashers still takes a keen interest in the school and its children. They visit us each year and our Year 5 and Year 6 children visit them in London every alternate year.
Bunbury is a special place where staff and children work together, supported by our Christian faith to create a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all.
Read all about our recent sucess in the school league tables in our local paper.
You are very welcome to visit and see for yourself.
